Try the 80/20 approach to succeed at nutrition.

We always encourage a healthy relationship with food to all of our clients. It’s not about going cold turkey and depriving yourself from your favourite foods and treats. Being healthy doesn’t mean having to feel miserable. Moderation is key! ✨

We recommend trying the 80/20 approach to nutrition. It’s a very simple concept: choose to eat nutrient dense foods 80% of the time and the other remaining 20% you can eat your favourite treats.

80% of your meals can consist of homemade, minimally processed, whole foods.

20% of your meals can be the foods you love to eat. Keep the portions controlled, plan these meals ahead of time to keep track and most importantly…enjoy them!

As a result, you may feel your energy levels are more stable and that you even recover better from your exercise.

This may sound like a simple concept, but it’s okay if you struggle. Remember, it’s not about being perfect, it’s about progress! It takes practice, time and commitment. And this approach may not work for everyone. Everybody and every body is unique to each individual.

It’s not about dieting, it’s about creating a healthy life!
