Gratitude Can Change Your Life

What are some of your simple joys that help to brighten your day?

Gratitude is one of the best daily practices we can adopt. We can shift our attention to what we’ve been gifted with instead of what we’ve lost. Focusing on the simply joys can produce the feel-good chemicals in our bodies and further reinforce our appreciation for life.

Try this simple daily activity:

1. As soon as you wake up, write down three things you are grateful for.

2. Before you go to bed, write down three things you are grateful for.

Research has demonstrated that the regular practice of gratitude, such as writing down the things you are grateful for can lead to better health, less stress, improved relationships and a more optimistic outlook. Remember gratitude comes when we are being mindful.

Summer is approaching and it comes with a sense of optimism. The birds are singing, the days are getting longer and the temperature is starting to rise ☀️
