Mindful Minute

Meditation does not have to be intimidating. If you’re looking to start your mindfulness practice, you don’t have to dive straight into sitting in mediation for 30 minutes each day. What we encourage you start with is the Mindful Minute.

Here’s how ⤵️

  1. Use a stop watch to time how many breaths you can take in one minute.

  2. Take slow deep breaths. Count each time you breathe a complete inhale and exhale. When you reach one minute, make a note of how many breaths you took.

  3. The next time you’re feeling stressed or anxious, close your eyes and breathe that exact number of breaths.

Once you finish, you’ll have taken a mindful minute 🙏

This practice can help reduce any feelings of being overwhelmed and may even increase productivity.

Getting into the habit of mindfulness practice can start to help with chronic pain, stress and also induce positive immune system changes.

If you ever feel that life is pulling you in a thousand different directions, use the Mindful Minute to ground yourself and come back to this moment. We can start to bring the spaciousness and clarity of awareness back to our minds no matter what is going on in our lives.

Give the Mindful Minute a try and let us know how it went.

Always remember, motion is lotion. We encourage you to Move Well, Live Well™.
