Andrée (Dre) Bissonnette
Dre works with an eclectic group of people in her one-on-one, small group training and Fascial Stretch Therapy sessions. She’s a big believer in working smarter, not necessarily harder. Lifting heavy and sweating hard won’t necessarily get you results unless you address your biomechanical, nutritional, stress and sleep deficiencies. Her knowledge of the body, program design and technique is what sets her apart from the rest in her field.
Dre utilizes Fascial Stretch Therapy to correct postural imbalances that lead to pain and stiffness. In doing so, she’s able to help people move in proper alignment, improve their balance, and release tension that translates into more efficient performance and physical conditioning outcomes.
Dre also offers nutritional guidance to those interested in getting healthy and improving their body composition and performance. She gathers her knowledge from a variety of credible sources and teaches nutritional principles in a practical way. Her approach to nutrition coaching is designed to get you to your goals by implementing small action-based behaviours and strategies over time.
Dre graduated from the University of Ottawa, where she studied Human Kinetics. Previously she worked for the Coaching Association of Canada, University of Ottawa Sports Services and Interprofessional University Clinic in Primary Health Care.
